With Project Rigel, Skype for Business brings their Meeting experience to every meeting room Office 365 customers in the UK can register for this future preview today at the Skype Preview website.
With the preview, customers in the UK will be able to trial number acquisition and assignment, inbound and outbound calling and voicemail which will all be integrated as part of Office 365. In May, Microsoft will start offering a preview of Skype for Business PSTN Calling services in the UK. PSTN Calling Preview for outside the U.S. In April, Microsoft says they will deliver new virtual Organizational Auto Attendant in Cloud PBX, which will enable customers to use Office 365 for automated handling of their business calls and speech recognition. The Cloud Connector Edition allows customers to quickly connect existing phone lines and phone numbers to Office 365 by delivering their hybrid capabilities as optimized and pre-configured virtual machine images. All versions of Skype for Business Server allow customers throughout the world to use Office 365 Cloud PBX with their preferred carrier calling services. Microsoft has also announced that the new Cloud Connector Edition of Skype for Business Server will be available in April. Cloud PBX new features and the availability of Microsoft’s Cloud Connector Edition Microsoft’s PSTN conferencing service will include local dial-in numbers in more than 60 countries by the end of this March(?) and in nearly 100 countries by the beginning of summer. These customers can now take advantage of flat-rates, and per-user, per-month pricing for these conferencing services.
